  • A HUNTER who is excited by building a territory (not scared at this notion) and has had B2B experience. Experience in SECURITY will take your resume to the top of the pile. However, we are open to others from different industries as long as you have a proven track record.
  • CONFIDENCE
    We can teach you the technical part of our business, but we can’t teach you this. We expect our all-star to be proactive in generating their own leads, meeting with customers, maintaining relationships, staying on top of quotes, comfortable with presenting, and ultimately closing deals.

Core Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Help expand our market presence in BC, specifically in the permanent customer base
  • All the usual ‘hunter’ sales responsibilities:
    • Consistently striving to meet (or preferably exceed) individual sales targets
    • Ability to self generate leads
      • Conduct cold calls to potential customers – in person and over the phone
      • Create customer referrals to generate leads
    • Sales Presentations – comfortable with public speaking and thinking on their feet
    • Actively listening to correctly identifying a customers pain points
    • Prepare and present detailed quotes for customers
    • Complete all paperwork required for sold systems
    • Manage a sales pipeline, update database with activity
  • Be a brand ambassador for the Company and work closely with our Police Liaison to establish strong working relationships with local law enforcement.
  • Work in a TEAM environment to successfully implement our solution and solve customer challenges. This includes working closely with our current Toronto team and building a strong team dynamic.
  • Participate in all association trade shows/golf tournaments/events when required
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Some overnight travel out of town

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success in sales, preferably in security or a technical sales role (ie. growing market share, developing a market, building long-term relationships with clients, etc)
  • Experience selling B2B (generating project cost estimates, quotes, and bids by generating RFI's, and reviewing project specifications)
  • Proven track record (can proudly share examples of success – i.e. persistence that led to winning the tough sale, or exceeding quotas, etc.)
  • Tech savvy with a competency in using computers and relevant software : Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Social Media
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
  • Have expert verbal and written communication skills
    • This includes but is not limited to: confidence when presenting and networking with customers, professional email etiquette, solutions-focused demeanour when dealing with customer challenges, etc)
  • Strong ability to build relationships and manage both internal and external customers (Radius customers, leadership to direct reports, company employees, vendors/suppliers, shareholders, community)
  • Embrace change and growth and continually find ways to develop your sales and/or leadership acumen
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities
  • Great attitude and overall – likes to have fun!
