Radius Security is an end-to-end security provider.  Radius designs, installs, monitors, and services customers’ security systems in many high risk and high need applications.  Our monitoring station is in our head office in Vancouver, Canada and enjoys some of the highest success rates in the industry.  Radius partners with Police Liaisons to ensure strong relationships continue with our responding authorities.

THE PURPOSE:

The Project Manager (PM) is the designer and planner for the project implementation throughout Texas.  The PM provides the “deep thinking” to layout the safest, most efficient, and most effective way to deliver each project within the constraint of available resources and expectations of the customer.

Applying the customers expected in-service date against the design, finalization, and installation process, the PM will layout key milestones and requirements to be tracked, guiding the delivery team to know how fast to push on any given project. The PM will be a key supporter of the customer, sales, and operational team with success being measured not only in deadline delivery and margin maintenance, but ultimately in customer satisfaction.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Sales Interactions:

• Support sales in design and finalization of complex applications
• Provide technical guidance to the sales rep and the customer, always keeping the objective of apprehensions front of mind.

Install and Service Coordinator (ISC) Interactions:

• Work closely with ISC to map out project timelines
• Provide key questions to the ISC to evaluate site readiness
• Give guidance on when to use sub-trades
• Collaborate on job cost analysis

Manufacturing

• Build out recipes in accordance with site requirements and available assets
• Proactively communicate project needs to assist with reducing backorders

Command Centre / Monitoring Station

• Build consensus around site design
• Manage station concerns of potential false alarms or usage implications

Technician Interactions:

• Layout the safety and accessibility plan for job sites to Technical Team Lead
• Provide clear communication to the technicians on expectations and delivery
• Walk the technicians through the site delivery plan

Customer Interactions:

• Communicate with the customer’s representative to plan the deployment
• Support sales and ISC in training and guiding the customer on system use

Other Department Interactions:

• Finance – billing
• Parts – ordering
